I twisted it a little to make it “mine”, but I wanted to thank you this beautiful theme ! I tried a few one before but yours is definitely the one I keep. Love it ! By the way, if you want a translation of this page in french, I can do it, no problem.

Oh, and thanks for asking about the French version of the page, but i think English and Spanish should be enough, otherwise i would have to update thre pages when updating Blue-K2

I really like the theme you’ve created.

I’m using it on my web site, but I’m having a problem understanding how I adjust the vertical position of text in the header. Currently my header text is right justified, but it is too low , so it bumps into the search box.

Can you give me any suggestions as to how to change the vertical position of the header text?

Is there a way for me to include the name of the author for each post either below the headliner or at the end of each post? Sorry, if it’s obvious. I’m new to some of this coding.

Thanks to everyone again for the comments.

Joel, add a new user to your wordpress installation from the admin panel. Make sure the new user acount has writting priviliges, and leave it that way, protected with a password.

When wordpress sees more than one author rgistered, it will print the author name next to the date on every post.

Hi Manas,

I see author comments aren’t higlighted in your blog, although they are here.

To fix it in your blog you can add this at the end of blue-k2.css:

.bypostauthor {
background-color: #F0F4FF !important;
border: 1px solid #9be !important;
}

This should fix it, and will be added on future versions of Blue-k2.

Regarding numbers for comments, i can’t find a way to do that, although it may be possible i don’t know how it would be done, i think a plugin may be needed, if you know anything let me know
I will try to find out though.

If I am not wrong you need to put individual comments into tags so that they are numbered.

At first let me say, that I really like your K2 style. It’s absolutely great!

Howerver I’d still like to alter it a bit, therefor it would be great, if you could publish the PSD-files for Blue-K2 v0.99.

i’m sorry but makingit flexible would require more CSS editing than expected, since the Flexible Width option was removed from K2 some versions ago. On the other Hand, Blue-k2 uses images for the background of the header, page and footer, which wouldn’t be flexible…

Sorry i can’t be of much help there..

Pues es realmente extraño… He mirado en una entrada de tu blog y ocurre lo siguiente: En este comentario si que sale una caja por que el comentario tiene el class .bypostauthor.

El problema es que los demás comentarios que has hecho en esa página no tienen ningún class asociado que los identifique como comentarios del autor de la entrada o del blog, así que creo que el problema no está en el CSS sino en que el blog no te detecta como admin cuando escribes comentarios… Te has asegurado de que al escribirlo estás logueada en el blog (por ejemplo, sale el boton de administración en le menu de navegación).

También puedes probar con otro navegador para buscar la razón…

En mi blog cuando escribo comentarios, mis comentarios reciben el class .bypostauthor y .commentauthor-admin, pero en tu caso esto no ocurre siempre…

Te has asegurado de que al escribirlo estás logueada en el blog (por ejemplo, sale el boton de administración en le menu de navegación).

ahora q me lo dices, yo voy a mi blog (como cualquiera), y escribo un comentario y listo, sin loguearme y nunca sale el botón de administración (wp-admin); sólo sale si entro por el wp-login, claro, y le quiero dar un vistazo al previo. Pero para dejar un comentario (de respuesta) en mi blog, no me logueo por el wp-login, vamos, nunca lo hice.
ahí debe estar el quid.
si es q debo activarlo para q lo vea (al botoncito wp-admin) al ver mi blog, cómo se le hace??

espero haberme explicado bien, q como soy mujer no voy a lo concreto, siempre me voy por las ramas.
